One Friday morning at Coffee and Toast, while ww and I were filling up on our quota of eggs and otah buns (we love them!), the following conversation transpired:
ww: wow, these eggs are really good today. i wonder how they make them so consistently good?
z: good qc? i think they stop the heating process and take them out of the boiling water when they're done. By the time they serve them, they're no longer boiling hot, but we don't really notice.
ww: i wonder where these eggs come from?
z:....... well, rumour has it.....
ww: yeah?
z: that they come from chickens! *starts laughing*
ww: very funny you.
z: well, you know what the question is that follows right?
ww: no, i don't really want to know do i?
z: which came first, the chicken or the egg?
ww: arrgh, i knew you would say something stupid like that.
z: ah, but do you know the answer to that?
ww: err, no.
z: the rooster. bwahahaha!
