foreign behavior

CNN.com - Gonzales defends wiretaps amid protest - Jan 24, 2006

I kinda admire the gutsy way those students protested. At least there are some in America who are not content to sit silently and take it on the chin. Really something foreign to us in Sunny-land.

time files

It's interesting how time files. In a blink of an eye, a day passes, a month goes by, a year zooms by.

Meeting an old friend from college tonight. He's back from the UK for CNY, so it would be good to catch up.

In other news, my tummy hasn't been feeling well. Bloated, I have been feeling. I think it's the lack of excercise and fresh air. So how? Quit my job? Then i can excercise all i want and breathe all the fresh air i want, which is important, considering that fresh air is probably what i have to live on.

Well, the year of the dog is coming up, but Jeanie doesn't seem to excited about it. She's been feeling like me i think, kinda lethargic.

Anyone been to the cage yet? Been wondering whether it's worth the steep charges. Always on the look out for kaki to play street soccer with (on the look out for soccer pitches too!)

Oh, and I want to wish A Happy Chinese New Year to all our readers. Wooooof! Arrroooah, arooo.

zero to zero

Viral marketing immunised by blogs

Quite interesting piece on Coke's effort to create some buzz among the web-savvy twenty-something age bracket (which i still qualify, just!).

I guess the blogging scene can be quite fickle and people just dun get it. And the best bit is, there is really nothing to 'get', or understand, or analyze, it just is.

Amazing shot

Read about this on Ben's blog, what an amazing shot.

Somehow, seeing the phrase "rules of engagement" reminded me about Mr Miyagi's post about his FIBUA excercise on rules of engagement. Absolutely classic.

Nothing much really happening these days, aside from the usual grind. Wibblewamble flew off yesterday, so it's been kinda lonely.
Before she left, we baked a carrot cake for my grandparent's wedding anniversary.....well, she baked, i just carried out carrot shredding duties. Hard to imagine that my grandparents have been married for that long now, but the strange(?) thing is that i can't wait to cut a cake just like that with Wibblewamble. Sigh.

Man’s Best Friend =)

Man’s Best Friend: SLU Study Shows Lonely Seniors Prefer Playtime with Pooch Over Human Interaction | Saint Louis University

Nothing strange about this really. I always feel better after interacting with jeanie. =)

By the way, the jeanie's garden is closed as manilasites have decided that they will not host for free. sigh.

local Bigfoot?

Bigfoot fever grips rainforest

Interesting, I've always wondered why the supernatural occurances in the East and West were so different (they had vampires, we had pontianaks), not any more! =)

I was going to suggest a Nessie-like creature in the South China Sea, but since it's off the coast of china, it would have been eaten (in a variety of ways) by now if it were ever caught. LOL
